Like taking a cold shower...
Dropped by on a Monday evening, surprisingly large number of customers and several girls working, but only a couple of decent looking ones, who were kept busy with regulars. I had to search for an open seat, and found one at the end of the bar by the stage, but realized it was open only because a big air conditioning duct was pointing straight down from above, blowing cold air on me. The music was way too loud, and I nursed a beer as several unattractive dancers did their sets on stage. For the size of the crowd, it was an eerily lifeless place, with people blankly looking at the stage performer and drinking quietly. Nobody was really talking, maybe because of the booming music. Even the girls seemed to be just standing around, not circulating, with bored looks on their faces, with several lined up along the walkway near the entrance, as if waiting for a regular to come through the door, or just killing time waiting for their shifts to end. Nobody seemed to be having any real fun, except for the two attractive girls, sitting with their regulars. I did notice a couple of times a girl would lead a guy by hand to the back VIP booths, so I suppose they had their fun in private. But all the other girls seemed to have just given up trying for the night. I found this to be somewhat depressing. I suppose if I had more to drink and lowered my standards, I could have found a dancer interesting enough to spend some time and money with, but after freezing my ass off, I called it a night and left.
