Time for urban renewal
Stopped in while in the area to see if there were any improvements. I must say, the club has not had one facility improvement since the late 80's. 3 women working, all huddled at the bar. One approached who was not anywhere attractive. Ask if i wished for company and I declined. No one on stage and they were more interested in talking to the bartender. There was one younger individual but definitely not a spinner. Had my one drink and beat a path quickly to the door. Between the smell of moldy carpets that hits you as you enter and the lack of any quality entertainment....you would be better to take the chance and be hustled at the Playpen over in Wilder. Not the prettiest bunch there, but far more talkative and more in numbers to observe. Time for Newport to finally put this place out of its misery.
