Used to be Fun

I went here a few years and had a great time. The girls hung all over you at the bar, and VIP room was hopping. Then I went a year ago and had a so-so time - thought maybe I had an off-night. Went again a week or two ago and realized this place has gone downhill, big time.

Place is located Newport, KY. It's not in the best part of town, but I didn't feel unsafe. Plenty of on-street parking just in front of the place, most with broken parking meters. There was a cover to get in (I believe $10), then I found a place at the bar. Got a couple of reasonably-priced beers. Even though there were probably 10-12 girls there that night, I had trouble finding a free one to talk to as they all seemed to either be sitting with their boyfriends or playing on their phone without ever looking up.

The clientele is maybe 80% black. The dancers used to be as well, but this evening it was closer to 50% black, 25% latino, and 25% white. Dances on stage were provocative, but were mostly bikini dances. Lots of floor and pole humping. If you sat stage-side and made it rain, the dancer would get up close and personal - sometimes pulling aside their bikini for a couple-second peek.
