Boring weeknight

I had a boring weeknight in Birmingham for work so checked out the Furnace. I Ubered there from a downtown hotel and was a little surprised to see it in the middle of a seemingly abandoned industrial area.

Inside the Furnace is quite nice as there are a pair of elaborate stair cases leading to the main stage. I didn't go upstairs but it seemed like there were VIP areas there.

A Corona was a little high ($6) but I guess in line with what you expect.
