Great dancers, when you can connect
I visited both Scarlett's Cabaret and Larry Flynt's Hustler Club during the same visit to St. Louis. I had a good time at each. The cover charge at Hustler was $20 on both Friday around 11 and Saturday around 10. This was the "VIP" cover, which included the bracelet to access the lap dance area. I'm not sure what admission would be if you declined that. My water was $5.
One oddity - when I arrived on Saturday, the door guy insisted on taking my hooded jacket. "Anything that zips all the way has to be checked." This was really strange/stupid. On Friday I was there with zip jacket that didn't have a hood, and wasn't asked to remove it. When I was there Saturday, there was another guy there with a zip up puffy vest, and others with non-zip hoodies. So I don't understand the criteria, nor what the purpose was in the first place. I was a little cold without it, but not as bad as I'd feared, so it was mostly just irritating. They didn't charge to check the jacket.
There were two mundane changes to the club since my last visit. First, they finally brought in a plumber. The bathroom, while still not nice, had three working urinals in it this time. They've also added a digital sign hanging in the DJ booth listing the upcoming dancers. That was a really nice addition because it was clear if a dancer was about to get called to stage (and thus interrupt any lap dances being done).
