Good private dances

I was back in St. Louis and made a couple of trips each out to Scarlett's and Hustler, and their relative qualities were fairly consistent over the separate visits. At Scarlett's the cover charge was $10 both Thursday around 10pm and Saturday after midnight. On Thursday they have their "Thirsty Thursday" deal, which mean the drinks were 2-for-1 all night. That was a great deal, as the drinks aren't outrageous on an ordinary night. Water was $2.50 on Thursday and the still-silly $5.25 on Saturday.

They've changed the lighting since my last visit back in August. It was dimmer, which overall was a good thing. However it was also more black light, even in the main room, which I think isn't great. Some of the glowing lingerie was fun, but it's not great lighting for skin tone or debris, and I think should be an accent rather than the room lighting.

The stage show wasn't quite as good as last time. There were a couple of decent performances, but most of them were pretty lackluster. There weren't as many dancers, possibly due to the weather being a bit chancy, so there were fewer options for good performers to get on stage. Tips at the stage still resulted in some contact with and attention from the dancer. While the number of dancers was lower than before, the diversity was still decent. I'd say a majority of the dancers were black, with several white dancers, a couple of latinas and at least one who said she was Korean. The overall quality of the dancers was good, but not outstanding.
