Knockin' Around The island

My Wednesday evening visit to Red Rose was serviceable, but I've had better entertainment at this club in the past. I paid the $10 cover to enter the club and my rum and cokes cost me $8.00 per glass on this visit. Tiffany was behind the bar slinging drinks and Alice was out on the floor waitressing. The dancer lineup was okay (by club standards), with Sage, Stormy, and Jazz offering something of interest to this customer. I did note the presence of Navarre, Dazz, China, Belle, and Passion, but I focused my club time on the first 3. I enjoyed some decent conversation with Jazz before being moderately entertained by her upstairs. I was disappointed in my interaction with Sage and Stormy, both conversationally and their dance offerings upstairs. Lap dances are still $25 per dance, with VIP remaining at $125 for 15 minutes and $250 for 30 minutes. I understand there is an ebb and flow to the temperature of dances in all clubs, but I was surprised by the "air dance" approach to lap dances and also the renewed vigilance of the attendant upstairs. I have always preferred this club to the others on the Island, but not on this trip.

While there is parking for about 25 cars directly behind the club, there is satellite parking about 150 yards down the street for an additional 100 cars. The road behind Red Rose that connects to the satellite parking needs attention!
