Average Visit
I first took a drive to Private Eyes to see if reports of it being closed were true. There was no one in the parking lot and there was a for sale sign out front. It’s probably very unlikely that if it does sell that it wil not reopen as a strip club with all the issues getting a new license. This is like the 4th club In the area to close in the last few years (Cristal, Private Eyes 2, Pure Platinum) which I guess is a sign of the times.
Head down the road to The Sundowner which has been rebranded as The Downer or DWNR. I paid the $10 cover and grabbed a seat along the backside of the main stage. Ordered a beer which with tip was another $10. The stage show was decent with some good pole action. Some of the side tables where getting table dances with one close to me with some girl on girl action. After a while I got approached by some blonde Eastern European gal (Romanian?). Dances were back behind the stage but they have some rooms also on the other side by the entrance side as well. Dances were $20 which seemed high as I remember $10 in the past but this might have been a while back. Anyway dances were decent with good grinding action and my hands were allowed to room at least up top. It did not look like anything else was available but maybe more luck in the afternoon vs evening based on past experience. Finished with 4 dances and went back to watch the stage show for another 1/2 hr before hitting the road.
I’ll return but the Niagara Region has seen its better days and only The Downer, Seductions, and Mints as options.
