My favorite within the triangle
Was the last day of my trip to Edinburgh and decided to pay a visit to the three clubs in the area. I'm a US based PL, and this was my first time trying out clubs across the pond and was curious to experience what this side is the world has to offer.
Entry fee was 5 for all three clubs. This one, was in my opinion, the grimiest, followed by the Western, and Dolls being the cleanest. All the clubs and the neighborhood felt safe to me. As you enter the club, the bar is to the left, stage is to the center, and the stairs heading up to LD and VIP areas are across the room.
Dances were 20 a song and VIP was 80 for 20 mins (i might be misremembering the duration, as I didn't go for it.) So the rule in UK is the PLs can't touch the dancers, but they can (and will). The dance area is a small booth separated with curtains. They are private in the sense that they are hidden from view, but i could hear the conversation from the next booth which was a bit irritating. (The Western also had a similar setup, but Dolls ones were less private).
I sampled 2-3 dances at all the clubs and here's my take. The dancers were great and super friendly and I had engaging conversations with most of them. In terms of their average looks, the western was the best, followed but this one, and Dolls the worst in my opinion. But in terms of the quality of dances, this one was by far the best, Western and Dolls both pretty similar. Having said that, my favorite interaction and dance was in Dolls though, but in an overall average this one was the best.
To conclude, I would say all three are pretty good and different in their own way, and you wouldn't regret going to either. The good thing is that these three are right next to each other, and have low door fees, so you if you aren't enjoying the vibe of one, you can just try the next one!
