Day shift pays pays off

A lot of the reviews here say that Tattletale day shift is not very good but I had a different experience. I'm in town from NC, visiting friends, and had a little time to myself in the afternoon and decided to hit up Tattletale since I prefer rock music to Hip Hop.

Since this was my first visit, I didn't know what to expect. I got there about 3:30pm or so and there was no cover charge and no valet before 7:00 pm. There isn't even a door person to check id's. The club itself is actually kind of small and you can tell its been around a while. Almost everything is painted black that isn't the stage or bar and it looks a little rough. Very different from my regular club, Lust, in Greenville, SC.

There's a main stage just to the right, after you walk past the door stand, with tables and seats around the sides and back. The bar is just to the left and set further back than the stage but you can sit at the front right corner and view the stage easily. The stage is actually viewable to some extent from the entire bar.
