Not Too Bad for a Weekday!

I decided to make the drive to Vivide on Wednesday of the week of the 4th of July. It was about 4:45PM when I backed into a spot on the grassy side of the fence. When I got to the door I was told the parking would be $10. I was parked on the grassy side so there was no fee. I received a light pat down from the gentlemen who’s usually at the door and paid the $10 admission charge at the window. There didn’t seem to be much happening upstairs today. Maybe 1 or 2 customers and dancers who were waiting on a VIP area to open up.

As I made my way downstairs, there didn’t seem to be much that had changed since my last visit in October 2024. The Latinas were gathered in their normal huddles in the booths closest to the restroom. There were a few more dancers in huddles on the opposite side. As usual the majority of the dancers were Latina with a few Black dancers in the mix. The dancers varied in size from petite to thick and natural to enhanced. The club seemed to be a bit slower than I expected. Customers were present, but it wasn’t very hard to find a spot in a booth. The dancers didn’t really seem to be working the room during this visit.

After finding a spot near the end of one of the booths, I was approached by a thick Cuban. She sat down and asked if I would be interested in a dance on the next song. A spot in a nearby booth opened up along the wall. She suggested that we go there for the dance. She allowed my hands to roam and hers did as well. After one song she made the VIP pitch for $200 and $60 for the club. I suggested the VIP across the skywalk, and she agreed. She performed well there, although it was a bit rushed.
