Not spectacular, but a good time.

Vivde is the most reliable good time for me in Atlanta, so I usually hit it up at least once when I'm in town. I was there mid-afternoon on a Saturday. The dirt lot, showing some wear, had a few cars but plenty of space. No parking charge there, then the usual ultra-casual pat down, metal detector, and $10 cover on the way in.

The club was less busy than I expected. There were way more people, dancers and customers alike, than at either Synsations or Allure, but Vivide was slower than my last few visits. It felt like there were more new faces as well; most continue to be Latina. The atmosphere was casual. I had frequent visits from dancers, but no high pressure. The music wasn't too terribly loud, though the DJ did more crap with the transitions than sometimes.

At one point I and another guy were getting dances in one of the horseshoe booths when the manager came by and asked us to move. There was a large group on one of the mid-room benches and he wanted them to have more space. That's fine, but there was another horseshoe booth with just two guys who were not getting dances that he could have moved instead. It was the large surly guy that frequently takes over a booth (and is somewhat peremptory about telling you to move if you happen to be where he wants to sit when he arrives). I assume he spends money at some point, but in the moment it felt like a slight to interrupt two people in the middle of spending money. The other guy abandoned his dance and dancer, so the manager cost her some money there.
