Former Shell of Itself

In town, and it's been over a decade since I have been to this club. Since then it's had at least 3 different owners that I know of. Sadly it's seen much better days. The first sign was pulling in with 3 of my buddies and there's a guy passed out in the bed of a small pick up truck with his legs hanging over the tailgate. Dam right we took a photo of that, he was wearing cowboy boots too. We had trouble finding a parking space because most of the cracked concrete had weeds growing so high they were as high as a car.

We went inside and were met by a young man in a suit who appeared to be the door man, cover collector, bouncer and manager all in one. $10 cover each and he then tried to sell us a bottle of champagne. We turned that offer down and headed to the bar which had a half ass collection of cheap liquor and a small cooler with beer, which appeared to have only Bud Light, Bud Heavy and Mich Ultra. They also had 3 or 4 beers on tap, if the taps were even working. The area behind the bar is now almost empty, with 2 sectional couches with a bunch of holes in them. Before there were tables to sit at, which are long gone.

Next you walk past a DJ booth which seemed larger than the stage itself. I'm there to see strippers, not the DJ. We walked to the stage with our drinks and couldn't even get close, so we had to stand in the corner, using a speaker as a drink holder since there were no tables or chairs. There were about 10-15 customers around the end of the stage, which was actually at floor level with a railing, so you couldn't even see the dancers at this level because of the customers blocking the view. While we were there we saw 4 dancers and 3 go on stage. All got completely nude and were all thin athletic builds (not meth-head thin builds) but my friend commented the young college girls hanging out on the stage as customers were better looking, and he was right. Still, if any of them would have approached us, we would have gotten dances from 2 of them without hesitation.
