Uneventful afternoon

I was in Lawrence last week with some time to kill in the afternoon/early evening time frame and decided to stop in at All Stars. I strolled in just a little after 4:00 p.m on a Wednesday so they had just opened. I was the only customer in the place for half an hour or so and only one other patron came in before I left around 5:15 p.m., so it appears weekday afternoons are not busy. Only one dancer working but she was a very attractive blond that looked to be no older than 25. I had a couple of premium beers so the bartender didn't charge me their standard $5 cover charge so I guess that was some consolation for the lack of atmosphere. The one dancer went through the motions for a couple of songs after I had been there about 20 minutes and then approached me about going to the VIP area. I declined and she appeared to be miffed by this. Didn't see her or any other dancers for 30 minutes so I left. Shouldn't open at 4:00 p.m. if nobody wants to provide any entertainment at that time, in my opinion.
