Off Night, Will Try Again Soon

I’m sure you’ve read about this place or you are at least familiar with it. Former legendary punk music venue in the middle of a cornfield on a dirt road between Highway 10 and Lawrence. Building is old, bathroom is small, private dance area isn’t that private. The building is about the size of a double wide mobile home. Stage is at one end, the entrance and private dance area is at the other. Lap dance wrist bands for the “private” dance area are $10. The place is BYOB so they have to make money somehow so they charge a cover charge of I think $15, wrist bands for lap dance area of $10, and a cork fee for the BYOB booze.

They usually have a variety of girls with some hotties but this night in early April there weren’t many to choose from. There were some 4-6’s, but this Asian woman who has been there forever latched onto me and would not leave me alone so I left. I’m going to give it another try soon but I went to the club across the river for a while and had fun. This place can sometimes be awesome but it wasn’t this night.

Word to the wise: If it rains a lot, come in from E 15th Street in Lawrence, not from 1400/1500 off HWY 10 unless you have a 4x4.
