The city of Roses

In the Powell area in the afternoon, so I decided to stop in Rose City. I got there around 3:30, when I got there I remembered it opens at 3. I was expecting it to be pretty slow. There were 6 or 7 customers when I got there, there were maybe 8 or 9 girls. Very big club. They got a patio, pool tables, lottery machines. So if the dancers aren’t entertaining you, there are other things to do.

I’m not sure if it’s just a happy hour thing, but the bartender made my drink really strong. I was feeling really good after one double shot of rum and coke. I didn’t see any bouncers at this time. As far as staff it was just dancers and the bartender. There was no DJ, so the girls picked their own music. One thing I did notice was all the music was Heavy Metal. I think the music has to be all rock/heavy metal. I’ve never seen a club like that. I think I saw two main stages and one cage for minors.

The girls were pretty much all white alternative type girls. Some of them had a lot of tattoos. They all looked in their early to mid 20’s. Only one girl caught my eye, she was a maybe a 7, but she had a naughty vibe to her. We talked a little bit, and mentioned there are cameras in the Lapdance area, but that the club don’t look at the cameras unless the girls tell them to. She convinced me to try out a few dances. I would say Rose City has the most private dance booths I’ve seen in Portland besides Tommy’s Too. The dances are $40, or 3 songs for $100. She discreetly gave me some handy work, but unfortunately it takes more than that for me to enter bliss, but I had a good time regardless.
