Over the past decade, this SC hound dog has been to all of strip clubs along Baltimore’s Pulaski highway corridor. Except Eldorado. Many years ago a brief aquaintance warned me not to go in there. But I was in the mood for something different ladt Thur night a bit after midnight so I decided to go in. I found well lit street parking across from the club. There was no cover and the bouncer at door gave me a quick pat down.

I was expecting a run down, very divey club. But instead I was plesantly suprised to see that it was reasonably nice inside. The music was plenty loud, but fortunately not ear-splittingly so, for which I was thankful. The building seemed to have once been two long, narrow store fronts with the dividing wall replaced with several pillars. The long, large stage occupies most of the fisrt half of the club. The stage is at floor level. A short, 2-ft wall separates the stage from the rest of the club. Low lounge chairs tucked between the pillars form the first row of seating. Taller bar chairs formed the second row of seating. I sat in one of the bar chairs. The bartender quickly filled my order for a diet soda. (Already had a couple of drinks in me and I was driving.) It was $5 for a 20 oz. bottle and a cup of ice. So I’m guessing pricing for other drinks will be typical bar prices.

Despite the club’s name and being located near a sizable Hispanic neighborhood, this is a predominantly AA club. All of dancers (5 or 6) were black, as were most of the customers. The dancers I saw were attractive (in the 6 - 8 range). The customers were mostly middle-aged.
