I Liked The Bartender
Decided to get out of Harrisburg and drive to DC for a trip to Ebony Inn, since I will have hardly any free time for at least the next month (probably the next two). Got an Airbnb since my friend who lives here is out of town. Was on here earlier and noticed that Mustangs is even closer than EI. How can I call myself a PL if I don't go to a club that's less than a mile and a half away?
Got there a little after 7. It's kind of a funny setup in that you walk into one closed area and then have to go through another door before you get into the club. I guess it's like EI in that sense, but there was no one until I was inside the club. Bartender, who wasn't bad, asked for my ID. Gave it to her and got a bottle of water ($4). No cover since I got there before 9. Sat and watched some ESPN before noticing a fine Latina sitting and playing with her phone. Bar is a regular rectangle. They sell Slim Jims and some other stuff, but what really sticks out is the trophies near the front. Not 'Best SC' or anything like that, they look like third grade soccer trophies. At any rate, the bar is straight in front of you when you walk in (you walk in on the right side). There are actually four booths in the stage area to the left. Main stage along the center of the left wall, with a satellite stage further back. There's a jukebox on each side of the main stage: the one on the left is old and doesn't work. Behind the stage area there are two pool tables, only one in use.
Bartender proceeds to tell me about her day thus far, having to play plumber and electrician. She's funny, though. Her personality alone would sell me on a dance if she was a dancer. She cracked jokes on every guy who came in after me, and had whichever dancer was closest them all. I didn't get the frisk, but none of the attractive ones were up front so it didn't matter much.
