Much the same still: Too dark and too loud
I wanted to get out to a club I don't go to often, instead of my usual clubs. I decided to give Kittens another try after my last visit, on March 4, 2017 visit (review posted on March 5, 2017). This time was on Saturday March 13, 2018, arriving at 10:30 p.m. and staying until midnight. Like last time, approximately 20 dancers were one shift (what the door man told me, but I think he underestimated. It seemed like maybe even as many as 30.)
Upon arrival I first noticed all the on-street parking was taken. Perhaps the bar next door (under same ownership) had attracted a big Saturday night crowd. I got the last available space in the parking lot, but I shouldn't have taken it. The spaces at the extreme east end of the lot are increasingly close to the spaces behind, due to the triangular shape of the block in which the club is located. I must have had to make a nine-point turn to get out of my space when I left. Advice to others: Don't park at that end of the lot, unless you're a skillful and patient driver.
A new procedure is in effect since my last trip: Upon entry, the door man gives you a two-part ticket. When you're served your drink, the waitress takes one part, and tells you that the other part is for your re-entry to go to the bar next door. My thought was, I wonder if I could have used it to go to another strip club, then return to Kittens if I wanted to. Unlikely that anyone would do that. The next nearest club is Dreamgirls at Sodo. Although it's only three miles between those two clubs, it's that's not really easy to bounce between the two.
