Remodel makes it a little better

Skinn was closed for awhile for remodeling. It’s always been a tight space with a dance area and bar to the left of the entrance. The floor is higher at the entrance than where the dance area and bar are so you walk down a small incline to get a drink. If you sit at the rail at one end your drink is at your chin and at the other it’s a normal height.

The dance areas were not very private with sheer curtains dividing them and broken down chairs for the dancer and guest. So there was a lot to make better. People didn’t seem to mind though because there were regulars to keep the dancers company most times.

All the work was on the private dance areas. Now there are walls dividing the five areas with better chairs but the curtains still don’t give much privacy from people walking by. I guess that’s on purpose but it cuts down on the fun. I got a private dance that was plenty good though. The area looks much better now, for sure.
