I've had a fondness for this...
I've had a fondness for this place over the years, but the talent can understandably be hit or miss. The good part is that when you connect with one of the ladies here and head back for the couch dances, you just don't want to stop. I had a wonderful time here with a pretty blonde gal who just gave the most sensual dances and she drained me of my tiproll so completely, that I had to use my debit card at Sonic on the way home. I honestly never got to see too many of the other ladies, but oh wow, every SC trip should go over like that. It was if she read my mind on exactly what I wanted.
Obviously, Bazookas isn't for everyone. There is no alcohol, although with your admission ticket I think they'll let you back in to go to the Bulldog B&G next door, (check with the doorperson for details). Lots of pretty ladies here, but by the downscale standards of most clubs in the Midwest, the atmosphere can be a bit stuffy and the hustle for dances relatively high. The downtown location can also be a bit discouraging as there isn't a lot of parking available. Dances are hands off (you can't touch), so if you're out for mileage look elsewhere. I'd suggest heading to Lawrence.
Dances are $15 on Sunday through Tuesday (that $10 price advertised on their website is for "covered" dances), but most dancers in my experience always expect $20. In any respect, don't go in looking for bargains and expecting the full slate of top caliber talent on those nights. Friday or Saturday between 7-10 PM is your best bet.
