Nickle & dime you to death
Went with some work friends last week for a divorce party, otherwise I don't think I would ever go here on my own. Cover supposed to be like $25 each but someone had pre-purchased a "bachelor party package" that ended up costing each of us $50 bc it had a flat rate and a few people had bailed on the group. We got t-shirts & wouldn't have to wait in the line but there was no line anyway. And everyone had to buy a soft drink for like $7.50 each, plus we immediately had girls all over us not to flirt but rather asking us to buy them drinks which apparently cost more.
Physically speaking it looks really cool from the outside bc in an old, historic theater building but inside looks like most strip clubs.
So basically I was out a bunch of cash up front just to get in, and the girls were just bugging us to buy them drinks too. They danced nude which is awesome and were overall pretty hot, but made it clear that absolutely no extras were to be had. We all threw in some more cash to get the divorcee a half hour private dances, he reported back almost no contact. The group of us put in $300 total ($150 each VIP room & to the girl) and he tipped her a bunch extra too.
