The Most Down-to-Earth of the 3 Lake Street Clubs

Reviewers are instructed to explain why one should or should not visit a club, but I remain undecided myself, based on a Thursday night visit. I guess it depends what you seek.

Free parking and friendly staff made a positive first impression. The club capacity is much lower than the sister club Gold Room across the street, for better or worse. The music, thankfully, was a blend of pop and Latin rather than the Gold Club's constant EDM, but song length seemed to vary from 2 to 4 minutes. Some 10-15 dancers almost outnumbered the patrons. Dancers and waitresses walked the line between greeting customers and pestering them. The dancers this night represented a mix of ethnicities and sizes.

The boxing-ring-themed-stage was only occupied about half of the time, and several tables were rather distant from it. But someone who goes there to watch sports TV while dining, drinking and private-dancing won't mind.
