Weird setup, but some friendly dancers

As others have mentioned, the name is now Torpedo's and it's right along Main St. It is a bit odd passing people just out for dinner, etc. When you enter, there's a counter that seems like it was designed for collecting a cover, but no one was there. You pass through a second set of doors into the club. To your left and up a few steps is an area that's a bit better lit with a couple of pool tables and some TVs. Ahead / to the right is the bar. The bar itself is a large rectangle with the stage in the center. Most of the chairs are against the bar. Circulating in the area between the bar and the stage are the last set of dancers (doing a tip walk) and the bartenders. Lighting is decent. The music is louder than I would have liked, which meant that when dancers came by, we were often shouting "what?" at each other. Overall, there was a decent vibe.

Generally, there were three women dancing at a time. There are poles at each end of the stage, so there'd be a woman on each pole and one in the middle. Since all three tended to start on the same song, they'd change positions throughout their set. I preferred sitting along the middle of the stage to most easily see all of them, but even when I lost my seat and had to sit at the end for a while, eventually my favorite from each set would rotate down to where I had a good view.

There were a range of dancers. I think a couple mentioned being from Brazil. There were at least a couple from Russia. There were a couple of Asian women along with a white woman who very much seemed to be from New Jersey. There was also a woman who said she was from Spain and was visiting family in the area. I'm not sure on the rest. Their figures ranged from well padded down to one who would have blown away in a light breeze. Similarly, English skills varied. The first woman to sit next to me didn't really have enough English for us to converse at all. There were others who could carry on a conversation, but seemed not to know some words. And some were fully conversant.
