Status quo, for the most part

Paid a visit to the 'Bit after about a 6 month hiatus and was pleasantly surprised to see some life returning to this place. Pretty much status quo as a number of the standard rotation were there, but saw a few new faces, too - so maybe Frankie is finally starting to clean house! (Although, if he is, I just can't understand why he doesn't toss out Gina and her clingy niece - jeez, they are a friggin' buzzkill).

Overall the vibe was fun this evening - driven by the latin beat from the sound system - which I haven't seen a lot of here in awhile. Chatty Kathy displayed her charms and then stopped by and chewed my ear for a while (I actually didn't mind this time!). The new faces were all 'zilians and it seemed that one guy was buying a few of them round after round, so they didn't do much in the way of dancing while I was there. I was intrigued by a couple of them, though, and so will likely be back sooner rather than later to find out more. Would be nice to see this place on the upswing again.
