Friday Nights Are For Regs

I stopped by Clancy's Pub for the first time on a Friday night. For those that don't know it, it's in a residential area in Bloomfield with some parking in the local neighborhood. The front entrance on Broughton looks like a bit of a rundown bar, so most people go in through the side entrance (where there is a bit easier access to parking anyways). This is a dive bar as opposed to a real club - there's a bar and seating on either side of the very small stage (which had 1-2 dancers on it throughout the night)

It was Friday night so the place was packed, but largely with PLs as opposed to actual dancers. There were 2 bartenders working, 2 dancers on stage, and a handful of dancers roaming around, but not too many. There is a large crowd of regulars/locals that frequent this spot, so the dancers generally were spending time with the regs as opposed to making their way around like they normally would in a more club-like environment. I'd say the few dancers I saw were attractive, predominantly Latina/Brazilian and in their late 20s/early 30s but as a newcomer, I didn't do much interacting with them given they never really left the regs / small groups that seemed to swing by regularly.

I ultimately spoke to one well-endowed Latina dancer who offered me a $20 dance, just in the back room. I declined as she wasn't exactly my type (and was moving from patron to patron around the bar). I bought a beer for $12 and hung out at the bar, tipped a few times on stage but otherwise didn't get much attention from the various dancers.
