The Griffin - Sexiness in the city
If you've ever been to Brown's or The Horns, you should know what to expect from The Griffin (which, I think, used to be owned by the same people - not sure though!). It's on a busyish road, not too far from Chancery Lane tube station, close to the Square Mile.
Like the two places mentioned above, it's a fairly small, but quite smart bar. There's a stage for the dancers, as well as a private dance area. When I went there on a weekday lunchtime, it was reasonably busy, five or six dancers on shift and a good number of people either having a lunch break or starting an afternoon in there.
You need to pay the girl who's about to dance a pound - no exceptions - but you don't have an entry charge, so really you're paying for as long as you stay in there. In the afternoon, private dances (which are, as per most places in London, no contact) are £10, but I think they may be more in the evenings.
