This has always been my favorite club...hope my experience in my most recent visit was a rare downer at the Downer. I do like to visit clubs at non-peak hours...have found the women more friendly when they have to work to get a dance. So last Monday afternoon, came to the Downer expecting some attention, and was surprised to find most of the women more

interested in eating lunch or playing video poker or some such. Walked by a dancer who caught my eye, caught hers and was invited to sit down, after a pleasant conversation

I asked her into the back room...her lap dances were mediocre at best, I hesitated but allowed her to continue through a third, stopped her at the end and handed her $60. "How much did you give me?" she asked..."it was five dances, hun"...bulls**t, it was a three song set by the same artist, but I wasn't about to make a scene, handed over the extra $40 and stalked back into the main room...

and right into my favorite dancer from past visits, who I hadn't seen in town in a year and a half after a VERY intimate encounter with her...and was told she was just getting some lunch, but would catch me later...after being ignored by this woman (who I've probably dropped a grand on in the past) for half an hour, left the club disillusioned.
