Growing on Me

For a couple of different reasons Stir Crazy is a club that I really want to work. And because I want it to work, I've given it quite a few chances to prove itself, and finally after this last visit, I can say OK, we're there. I've been here sometimes when it is way too dead for my tastes, and the times when there appears to be a crowd (after work and late on Fri & Sat) are usually times I can't go.

However, I managed to get a sneaky trip in Friday at about 7:10 and was glad that I did. But in order to find my happiness with the club I had to realize & accept one thing: This is always going to be a low key club experience. I'm never going to feel overwhelmed here like I can be at Booby Trap Doral, Diamond Dolls or Tootsies. The bottom line story to this place is go in, enjoy a variety of curvy women, find something you like, zero in on that and seek & destroy.

I had a problem parking. The parking lot, which is small does get a bit full during its peak hours. During the day this is a problem, as it's not quite clear where you can safely park around/near the club w/o fear of being towed. I ended up parking at a nearby park, which was a walk (and also closed at 8pm, so I ended up hightailing it to my car for fear that my car would be locked in). No cover, no parking fee, but I was wanded down at the door (there was a shooting inside the club many, many years ago).
