Safe and Fun in the Afternoon

I visited on a Thursday around 5:00. I wouldn't want to visit this club at night, as there have been at least two shootings there in the past twelve months. The bouncer was very thorough frisking me for weapons. Too bad not all dancers are that handsy. No cover charge, but it was early.

When you walk in directly in front of you there is a small main stage, surrounded by a bar on three sides. There are also smaller stages throughout the club, but none of them were in use during my visit. The place didn't reek of weed as much as it did during previous visits. The bathroom was clean. They have an attendant, so be prepared to spend a buck or two for a tip every time you need to take a leak.

There were probably about a dozen dancers working, and about the same number of customers. I was the only white customer but didn't get any negative vibes from anyone. I'm middle-aged and was dressed business casual. Two of the dancers were on the stage. All of the girls were black, and at least a few of them were Cuban as well. Only one was stunning. The rest were OK, but not terrible.
