I was driving down US 83...

I was driving down US 83 and saw the big sign for this place that advertised "Free Buffet" before 5 PM. It was about 2:30, and I was hungry, so it seemed like a good way to kill two birds with one stone.

So I go in, and have to pay a $5 cover, and buy a drink for $3 (plus a $1 tip to the waitress). Now I've got $9 invested in this "free buffet". Tried the buffet. It wasn't good - certainly not worth nine bucks. Watched a whole second half of a college basketball game on the big screen. Nothing else to watch.

There were a dozen or so patrons in the place, some of them sitting with dancers. No dancers actually danced. Not once in the whole time I was there (about 45 minutes or so). Never tried a lap dance; it's hard to tell with dancers just sitting down, but I didn't see any girls that seemed at all appealing. So I spend my nine bucks on a "free" buffet and a basketball game.
