Still the place I get in trouble
CH3 has come back into my good graces. Pricing was getting out of control a bit before, but speaking of this Tuesday evening, seemed to have peaked and moderated. First, as I always do, I drove myself. It got me in with no cover. Club guy introduced me to a girl to take me to a seat, I said Hi but had to beg off to use the restroom (I really needed to go but still was a great tactic to politely lose her). And of course, in the restroom there is Herb, the attendant (I won't call him a troll). Herb's been there as long as I can remember and even after I begged off the club for awhile, he still recognizes me when I come back. We caught up while I washed my hands. To the bar and I opened my tab with James. After he gave me my first drink, I said I recognized him from the last time I was there and he said he thought the name on the card seemed familiar. It's funny, I'm beginning to feel like the regular in this club and the girls are the ones constantly changing from visit to visit.
About the girls, I stopped counting when I got close to 20. My number above could be a little low then. As usual, quite a variety there. Some my type, others not so. A few stand-out stage shows of those I saw. I never was left lonely for any length of time. And then, not one "wanna dance?" girl. I had good chat with all the ones that stopped by and it always seemed inevitably to lead to VIP (usually at my suggestion). The change this time that made VIP more acceptable was the starting rate was $100 for 15m vs 3 songs (which actually might be the same because the songs seemed to be of good length) and now you are required to buy only 1 drink for the incredibly inflated price of $25 instead of 2. It still gets stupid from there. I think a half hour is $300 with two $25 drinks (when 15m is $100, I don't get the logic). I think an hour is at least $600 maybe $800 with at least 4 drinks - so it's quite the escalating curve. I did a room once... once, a long time ago and felt so ripped off by the experience, I will never do one there again (yeah, so take that). But this $100 for 15 and one drink thing worked for me and I used it more often than I should have. Hey management, paying attention? More "reasonable pricing" could lead to more VIP use? Do you prefer one whale to take one girl to VIP for an hour or 2 or wouldn't it be better to have a bunch of us PLs rotate in and out throughout the night as I did? Oh, and the girls always ask for a tip. They want $20 because it's not for them but to tip out the VIP host.
So I got myself in trouble what with all the VIP and at the main bar where I happily bought drinks. No low bar tab this time around but I did think that some of the regular bar drinks were actually reasonably priced (for Vegas). $25 for even a small Redbull in VIP is a little much (did I really say 'little'). Thing is, I understood and knew this was how it would be when I went in. I reached my budget and then some but really did have a good time.
