Fuego 2.0

I sort of felt bad reviewing this place yet again, but recent events make it necessary. Those events are the closing of Fuego and the influx of their dancers. Now I have nothing against latinas. In fact some of the new dancers are actually attractive. However, the large number of new dancers from the one location have changed the feel of showcase. If wanted to go to Fuego, I would have done it while it was open . I have little desire to go Fuego light at a new location. So the issue is the new dancers come in with a slightly different attitude. Less social. Walk up and pretty much just drop the "wanna dance" and move on. Some are not particularly good with English...some clearly don't know much beyond "dance?" So not much on the small talk. It's also tipped the scales on the diversity scale. Before it was well represented by both AA and white girls, with the occasional Asia and latina. Now it is very much dominated by latinas. Overall, it is a very different club than it was a month ago. While it always had some issues, not sure it's really my cup of tea anymore. There's a reason why I always went there rather than Fuego. Now it might as well be Fuego.
