Dead scene

I stopped in Rick's Sporting Saloon around 7:30pm on a Friday night. The club itself seemed fine - decently sized, clean, comfortable layout. The bouncer and bartender were friendly, but there were no other customers in the place. I still bought a drink figuring I might be able to get a dance. I sat down, waited about 5 minutes. A good looking full figured dancer came on, did one song, and that was it. I promptly gave her a tip, finished my drink, and moved on. I would try back here in the future, but I think that it being early evening plus the Friday after Mardi Gras may have accounted for the slow business.
