First Rate Staff. Not Sure About the Club.

So going back years I have not been a fan of the Scores brand. It's not on the people who work at the club, it's more the premium you know you're going to pay just by walking in. I had been to this club when it was Pure Gold, and liked Pure Gold. Other than Capital Cabaret it was the best club in the area dollar for dollar. There's no sense in comparing the two clubs because I'm not sure how long it's been since the reopen. Someone told me it's basically just using the Scores name, which is why the place isn't as done up as a typical Scores club. I can tell you the valet and guard is still handing out tickets that say Pure Gold and not Scores in the disclaimer. I'll pay the $5 just to save the hassle of parking farther away if I can keep the keys.

Carolina clubs do memberships. Hope you like your personal info sitting around. I used to care. Now not as much. Cost of doing business I suppose. I don't hate the club layout, but it feels a lot smaller now than before. The main stage area takes up a lot of space, and is in line with what you get quoted at other Scores around the country. One nice thing about the staging is the dancer can cater to the people sitting over in a little reserve area and then walk down to the main floor where the rest of the customers are. $40 a song for a lap dance, with a little bit knocked off for multiple songs. It's the DV model, and if it didn't work I suppose the clubs wouldn't be open. I fed money to a machine at a Hustler Club not too long ago to be polite, but was not feeling as generous on this visit. It's a nude BYOB club, so I did take a closer look and tip at the stage. Saw a few dancers on stage and not all got completely nude, but the ones who did were not shy about showing off their assets.

Other thing to keep in mind is that BYOB is basically beer and wine. Liquor is not allowed. Plus you have to pay a fee to bring in alcohol. The more more you bring the more you pay, but it is cheaper than buying drinks at non-BYOB clubs. Raven and Gypsy are two names I remember. Gypsy had dreds and Raven had dark hair and tats all over. Raven went full nude during her set and put in some effort on stage. Overall the girls seemed fine and a couple I saw were pretty good looking. I didn't hate the club, but there really wasn't enough going on to hold my interest. Got there too early and left since there weren't really many girls around. Have a review from a different visit that was more interesting, but this is the one I ran across first.
