NC Bible Belt Thud

I was in Durham NC for the weekend visiting friends and we needed something to do on a Saturday night. One person (who was a local) suggested to attend this club which is literally across the street from the RDU airport. I have grown fond of the ATL strip clubs (non Cheetah ones) and was expecting a Pin Ups similar vibe. Boy was I in for a disappointment.

The club has a nice ambiance and is very spacious. Cover was 15 dollars and the wide ranging bar is immediately to your left. Thr main stage is in the center back of the establishment with satellite stages to the left and to the right. VIP booths are 150 on the weekends and are on raised platforms. Lap dances are in rooms with couch partitions (7x7) and the prices are on a sliding scale that start at 10 minutes for 100 dollars (no touching) to 200 dollars for 15 (where touching was allowed. There are several VIP rooms in the back right and back left of the club that have jacuzzis, TVs, and one party room had an additional pole along with a putting green. The stripper who provided the free tour said these rooms start at 800 for a half hour (or an hour as I might have forgot) but this is something that I we werent interested in. She was bubbly and personable but wasnt super attractive.

The girls there were lackluster. There was an ample mix of black and white girls with few latinas sprinkled in and a couple of Indians. There might have been one super atttactive black or mixed woman but most of the women were average or middling at best. Strippers were content to mingle with regulars or sit on their phones and not mingle with customers. Several white girls kept glancing in our direction but were too indolent to approach our mixed group of men and women. I dont understand this new phenomenon where strippers think that we need to approach them.
