Playhouse hit or miss

I was in Miami to watch the Dolphins play the Patriots and remembered one of the girls from the Pompano clubs had switched to Playhouse so I decided to take a trip after the game to see if she was working this day. Parking was free and thorough frisk was conducted by the bouncer before entering the club. An absolute necessity at this club as they have had a history of late night shootings. The guy doing the pat down was friendly and didn't seem much of an intrusion and I appreciated them doing it for safety concerns. The cover was reasonable at $11. As soon as I entered the bar I headed for the very back bar. In these types of clubs - I always like to have a full view of the club with no one behind me. Old school I know. One consistent thing about this club - management presence is strong and visible. Well managed club and dj is not obnoxious.There were about 10 girls working and the selection was very decent. Four or five 7's or up and even those on the low end had nice faces and looked decent. The line up was about 65% AA 35% latin. I got immediate service from a waitress as the back bar was not open but you are allowed to sit there. I like this location in the club from previous visits as I like table dances on the tall chairs which I find more conducive to a great grind. I found the waitress excellent - fun friendly and competent - a rarity for Strip clubs in Miami. While I was there I realized I had missed my friend/stripper from the other club - she apparently took Sunday off. i was approached by an AA dancer with a beautiful face and a very good body as well. After a brief conversation she asked if I wanted some dances and I decided to accept her invitation as she was very nice. Dances were $10 each- half way through the first song she got completely naked. Wow what a beauty but while she was very nice - she wasn't allowing too much free roaming with the hands and grinding was infrequent. Being hardened (no pun intended) by the Miami clubs my expectations are fairly high on contact and this was just not doing it for me. After 7 songs i stopped her and gave her $80. She asked if she could do more songs and I declined. The bottom line - as beautiful as she was - she was just not doing it for me. A couple minutes later a couple guys came to the back bar and sat by me. After killing a shot - one of the guys barfed on the bar. Talk about a buzz kill!! The other girls I was interested in seemed to be locked down with regulars. As for the atmosphere in the club on this Sunday night not a problem with thuggish clientele. I was conscious of the time and made sure I was out of there before 2AM when it seems this club has a tendency to fill up with gangsters. After realizing the girls I was interested in were tied up and the barf scene I decided i would head out and cut my losses. Overall, not a terrible visit - just wasn;t doing it for me on this night. I do think I will make a trip back to give it another shot and see my friend if nothing else.
