Club Rio - Indianapolis

Business had me in Indianapolis after being away for ten years. On a Tuesday night in Indy I decided to visit some of the local clubs there. The first club I visited was Club Rio. CR looks to be in a mixed business area of Northwest Indy. The area looks to be safe and the club is easy to find with a good sized, paved parking lot. I entered the club and paid the $7 entry charge.

It was dark inside and it took a minute or two for my eyes to adjust. Not many folks inside. I noted about 4 customers and an about an equal number of dancers. None of the dancers were spectacular looking at first glance. After getting a drink (diet coke) at the bar, I found a table. Just one dancer stage/pole was in use on this evening.

A big thigh, plain faced blond (Lindsay?) came over to my table and asked if she could keep me company. “Sure” was my reply. We chatted with the normal conversation questions from her… where you from, come here often, etc. She was nice to talk to. After conversing for a few minutes she left my table to do her stage dance rotation.

A short-time later another blond, Amber, approached and asked to sit with me. Amber was touchy, feely and intoxicated to the slurred speech stage. The intoxication was unfortunate as Amber was easily the best looking dancer as it were in the CR on this night. She continued to try and carry on a conversation with me in spite of her drunkenness. She somehow got on the subject of nipples and freely showed hers while we sat at the table. I soon tired of the struggle to converse with her. When she offered a $30 dance I quickly accepted in an effort to get the dance and move on. As Amber described a $150 for 30 minutes private VIP was also available. I got the impression the menu was open if I chose the 30 minute VIP. Amber said our $30 dance would be a “warm-up” and she would show me what she could do.

So the one song VIP was better than I expected with Amber showing her goods well and promising more if we did the 30 minute VIP. I declined having found her to require more effort than I want to expend with her in an intoxicated state. I called in a night at Club Rio and decided to head to Harem House for the 2 for 1 Tuesday special. I wasn’t disappointed in Club Rio as I truly didn’t know what to expect. I should have spent more time with the sweet but plain Lindsay. Perhaps I’ll try CR again the next time I’m in Indy.
