If you're not a regular don't bother
For the past 10 years or so I've been in NNJ for work 5-6 times a year and I almost always stop in here for a night or two. So while I am here fairly regularly, I'm not here enough for anyone here to remember me as a regular.
Yes, the girls are generally very good looking. BUT if their regular is there they will take their regular for a dance before you and you'll end up sitting there wondering where the dancer went or waiting for 45 minutes or more for the dance she agreed to. This used to be an occasional occurrence and I always just shrugged it off, last night it happened all 3 times I arranged for a dance.
First girl approached me and ask if I wanted a dance. I agreed, we went for a a couple of dance and then she says that one of her regulars is there and she wants to be sure she gets to him before her next set and that she'll come find me when she finishes with him. I paid her for the dances and politely told her not to worry about finding me.
Second girl, is doing her dancing on the stage and I smile and make eye contact. She steps off the pole stage to start her dollar parade and I'm the first person goes to. She asks me if I'd like a dance when her set is done. I say absolutely. When her set finishes she goes off with a guy that she had been chatting up and appeared to know her. So I sit there for like 30 minutes wondering if she's coming back or if I'm gonna have to wait till after her next stage set. She finally comes up to me and says, "Ready?" I'm thinking that basically we have time for like maybe 2 dances and then she's going to have to go back on stage. Screw that. I tell her "I'm sorry but I was ready 30 minutes ago, now I'm ready to leave."
As I'm finishing my drink I figure I'll try one last time. I do the smile/eye contact thing to get the attention of a dancer on stage. When she starts her dollar parade she comes to me first. She agrees to some dances when she gets off stage. She then spends the rest of her dollar parade with a group of guys across the bar. No big deal. Then she gets off stage and proceeds to sit with them the entire time before her next set. She did appear to be doing shots and to be a bit drunk so she might have simply have forgotten all about me. But either way, strike three, i was out and left with my pocket still flush with cash.
