What Happened?
I had swung by here several times over the past few years since business has me travel between Charlotte and Atlanta occasionally - and normally had a tolerable to good time. Never anything that could even be considered on the verge of illegal but had many fun evenings spending my dollars so "college girls" could make up monetarily for what their dead-beat baby daddy wasn't providing.. Heard from a customer during this visit that this club was closed for a while for prostitution (apparently I am the last to know). Where was it happening? I did a little research afterwards and apparently Cops were entrapping dancers with significant dollar amounts (over $1k - that is enough to get most people to do stupid illegal shit) to commit to doing "illicit actions" (what a subjective and archaic position). And what a bunch of jerk-face cops. Why not worry about trying to create a presence in the community that prevents domestic violence and/or rape and/or DUI and/or theft and let adults have their fun. Come on - I expected better. What a fucking waste of resources (pardon the french). This is such a petty issue that local LE made. Very sad. Anyway though, this club sucks now - and not in the "good, illegal way" that the cops had to waste their time on. A strip club with no titties - it is like a car with no wheels - you get in it and it does not do much of anything for you. That is where Platinum Plus is - not doing anything. My advice would be to cut losses and close. Great dancers are gone. Seeing titties is gone. The crowds are gone. It is no longer the standard that G-vegas clubs compete with. Close this corporation and start a brand new one - it will cost more money up front but will be a win for owners and patrons in the long run. I will miss you Platinum - starting on my last visit. What you were is already gone - you're just an empty shell now.
