Not What I Was Hoping For

So a fairly disappointing visit. Was in KC for a quick getaway and after drinks and dinner the wife and I headed over to Bazooka’s around 9:30 I think (took an Uber from the Power and Light area but could have walked). Paid the $20 each to enter and was given a white coupon and a couple blue tickets. The white one was proof of purchase so you could leave and come back, the blue ones were for drinks (water, as there is no alcohol).

Just past the curtain is a manager/security looking at tickets. Along the left wall is the stage (men’s room in on the near left, women’s is upstairs in the adult book store). There are metal chairs with small tables arranged around the stage. These had to be the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat on in a club or bar – just a step above folding ones. I’m guessing that was to make it clear that you weren’t getting any dance at the table. Further back from the stage was a step up and a long bench (which might be more comfortable) almost the length of the room and behind that was the wall/curtain that separated the lap dance area which was darker and filled with loveseat sized leather chairs that were reclined. On that level toward the entrance was a security guy (but looked like possibly management) who seemed to be eating something the whole time and looking at something that was either a lap top or video monitors of what was possibly going on in the VIP section which was behind a curtain just to the left of him. At the far end of the lap dance area was another set of steps down to the main level and a bar with soft drinks.

We walked in and sat just a little back from the stage at a table (at the stage was a row of chairs). From what I could tell there were maybe 10 dancers and probably 20 PL’s. The quality of dancers was poor for our taste with most being 5-6 with maybe one 8 (which I didn’t get a chance to sample). Almost all except 2 were natural and sadly not blessed in that area. However, I have to give them credit for really putting on a show on the pole with most of them being pretty energetic. Only saw one actually go all nude and that just entailed pulling her thong down mid-thigh at the end of her set. There were at least 3 other couples there so that was good.
