I made another trip to The Ball Park last Saturday evening and cameaway realizing I don't have to go there anymore. At least not on a Saturday night. There were 4 dancers working, none of whom interested me. The bar was crowded with what appeared to be mostly locals. There were a few couch dances going on but again I didn't partake. I did notice one girl evidently having trouble collecting from a guy following their dances. She was supposed to go on stage but kept waiting for the guy, who kept digging in his pants, ostensibly looking for the money he knew was in there when they started the dance. He appeared to be pretty drunk and she appeared to be pretty pissed. She finally went up on stage and sent another girl to go convince the guy to fork it over. I overheard the bartender, who evidently doubles as the money handler, say "That's why I always tell you girls to get your money up front."

It was an interesting diversion but not really the kind of entertainment I was looking for. And I could see it turning really nasty if one or more of the guys who were driving the pretty impressive looking motor cycles in the parking lot had to get involved. I keep hearing whispers that this place has potential. And perhaps I have not been at the best time or on the best day. But, based on my limited experience, its main potential is that of a local townie bar that just happens to have a few pastie covered, saggy-breasted women dancing in the background.
