Nice place but slow in the afternoon

I spent a couple of hours at PT's Showclub early on a Wednesday afternoon. It's located in an industrial area north of downtown Portland. It's pretty easy to find but not that close to downtown (15-20 drive). The space itself is very nice. There was a $5 cover charge and any change comes in $2 bills. (kind of their trademark I was told.) There is a large rectangular stage in the center but nobody dancing for the first hour or so that I was there. There is a nice spacious bar along one side and tables with nice swivel chairs along the other sides. Couch dance area is private and comfortable. I would definitely say this is an upscale type club. The place was almost empty for most of the time I was there. 5 dancers and about 5 customers max. It was very slow but was told it gets very busy at night and weekends. Dancers were very nice to talk to and not pushy. Dances were $25 per song and were topless. Stage dancing started about 1:30 but there were few customers paying attention. All in all a very nice club and I will return when in the area.
