Quiet night, but every club should have a bartender like Oasis.

The best times don’t always start out promising. Such was my experience at Oasis on Monday. Started out slow but ended up as an enjoyable if low-key evening.

It’s Monday night, my first time to the area. I check out the options on TUSCL and decide on Oasis, the closest club to where I’m staying. It’s easy to find, easy to park, with good lighting around the small lot and side entrance.

Walking in, I think oh-oh. Empty. A very pretty blonde is on-stage, and two dancers are sitting at the bar with the other three customers. No one is smoking, thankfully, and I think the club may be smoke-free. The bartender and the dancers greet me playfully, and I order a diet coke and start my evening thinking this is going to be a short stay.
