Traipsing through South Beach

This club is often considered one of the best. I would say it deserves this status. It seems to have good dancers every night of the week. It isn't just the whole full nude with alcohol thing. It is the full nude with alcohol and open late thing. This means I have the option to get drunk and sober up before leaving. The club is clean. Since it has a tourist vibe, on any night of the week there is traffic. The tourist vibe helps to keep riff raff out of the club. I have pretty much stopped clubbing locally for this reason. Now that I know 10 dollar and even 5 dollar dances still exist at several places, it diminishes the utility of my local club that I have probably got as much mileage out of as I can. Since I travel a lot for business, I can hit most clubs in the country if I so choose. That being said I accept the $25 dance price point as pretty much the going rate in every major city except on specialty nights. Anything more is not acceptable. To a guy like me that doesn't buy that many dances or extras it doesn't affect me much though. As the dancers will flat out tell you at Tootsies, anything more than a test drive dance on a single girl is a waste of money. The dancers all know what the big spenders are spending their money on. Understand the game and of course do not allow them to chump you into unacceptable terms. To a large degree a cover of more than $10 is not acceptable either. Thankfully Tootsies does not have this problem. Free parking is a huge plus. The club is probably not completely dead on any night, and because of the tourist factor it probably does not get thuggish on any night either. I don't really notice the music or DJ when I am at Tootsies, which is good. The dancers have probably some of best variety you can get. Miami is obviously a very international city, and on many nights no one group seems to predominate.
