This outing was a prime example of how a single dancer can turn an average (or maybe below average) experience into a total success. Win!

With so few reviews on the site, I was reluctant to break new ground, but the Lumberyard didn't open until 7:00pm and Woody's didn't open until 5:00. I was on limited time and got to the joint right at the 4:00 open time. The club itself is small and has a neighborhood bar feel, clean but not "posh". The two stages were vacant, even with 11 customers in the place, mostly "retired looking" gents. It was looking bad at 4:45 when not one dancer had been to the stage, and the only talent that I saw in the place was Shea, who was super friendly and nice, but quite thick with HUGE boobs, and definitely not what I like. I saw Rachel, a reasonably cute (7-ish) hispanic girl and a couple of AA girls that were maybe in the 5 range. I saw a total of 5 or 6 girls and all of them were really laid back, friendly, would start a conversation and were not pushy at all, but the looks of the talent at other places in town is quite a bit higher. This place is not a "destination" but it wouldn't be a disaster by anybody's standards. No cover (at 4:00pm), $20 private dances, inexpensive beer, and a decent rotation of average girls.

For me, though, the afternoon changed when I met Nicki, a cute, toned, and slender blonde that caught my eye when she walked out of the back. She went and talked to a few of the girls and a couple of customers, then walked near me. I smiled and said "hi", and she sat down with a smile and said "this is a great day"! During the conversation she referenced a couple of bands from "my era", and I joked with her that she had no point of reference for bands that were clearly before her time. To my surprise, she just asked when I graduated high school, and I gave her an honest reply. I was SHOCKED when she said that she was only 3 years younger than I am!
