After wasting an hour at the very hit-or-miss Diva's, I decided to try Camelot East, where I had had a great night the previous Wednesday, which had been my very first time in this club. I got there about 11:00 Sunday night (this was May 31). Free parking, $5.00 cover.

There were not a lot of customers, but there were enough that there was a decent vibe going on. When you first walk in, the bar is on your left, so I hit that and order a bottle of water ($3.25). There was a stunning, petite brunette seated at the bar with a guy seated next to her on the other side, so I sat with one empty chair between me and the girl. I quickly surveyed the room and saw about 15 girls working, and then noticed that the girl near me didn't seem to be with the guy next to her. Not one to miss a chance like that, I moved to the chair next to her and said hello.

We chatted for a bit, and she said she had just gotten to work. She was 31 years old, but could have passed for 21, easily. She was already a great conversationalist, but she said she gets even more talkative when she drinks and asked if I'd buy her a shot of tequila. After ascertaining that it would be a real drink at a normal price, I said sure. We continued to talk for quite some time, and this time she bought herself a shot. We talked some more and I bought her yet another shot. All this time, the conversation was great. It was getting more personal and handsy (well, mostly by me) and she seemed to genuinely enjoy it. We discussed going to the VIP for 20 minutes for $125, which is the standard price for that here. VIPs are done in complete privacy, in small rooms near the stage with so-so couches, decent lighting, and frosted glass doors.
