nice place, bad night

After a disappointing trip in Southern Indiana (Rustic Frog doesn't have dancers anymore), I continued traveling east along I-64. Felt it was too early for anything interesting in Louisville, and it's been disappointing in the past, so I skipped it and headed to Lexington. Someone here recommended SR so I went to check it out.

Finding the place and finding parking there was easy enough. I got there around 9:30pm, got carded at the entrance and paid the $10 cover to a friendly dude there. Walked to the left and heard the DJ announcing a girl was finishing her set so I sat down by an empty stage. No girls were imminent, so I just took in the scene. Friends: it's really nice. The SCs I've been to over the years range from kinda gross to aspiring to classy (and mostly failing), with most of the places in the middle, but leaning towards the bottom end. SR here was easily the nicest place I've ever been to and is actually classy. Lots of space with real booths or comfortable seating around nice tables. Big screen TVs all around tuned to sports. There's an upper level near the bar, or a lower level near the stage and a full menu is served throughout. There was only a smattering of other customers in this night some at the bar, fewer by the stage. The whole place actually looked clean. I was truly impressed.

What I was less impressed by was the action. First, the main stage is really kind of small, only room for one dancer comfortably. Then I waited 3 songs before the next girl was announced and then waited another full song before she actually came out. She was an 8 imo; very thin with a great ass even if not much going on up top. Very talented on the pole. She didn't strip at all though. She wasn't wearing much to begin with but it all stayed on during her 3 short song set. Not sure about you guys, but I like girls to strip at the strip club. She got off the stage and went, with another dancer, to a table with a double date situation going on. Then I waited 4 more songs for another girl to come up.
