I like this club. Still hoping to return on a busier night...

Lexington is never a destination city for me, but I occasionally get a little bit of club time around these parts. I normally don’t have a wingman either, but in this case, my friend and I made the drive from Cincy to check out Cowboys on a Saturday afternoon.

The worst aspect of our trip had nothing to do with the club itself, but rather the hideous traffic we encountered as we got close to the club. Trying to make the left turn onto the street where the club is located took something like 4 or 5 cycles of the light! Traffic was a bit easier leaving the club, but damn, this can obviously be a rather busy area at certain times! The congestion was nothing that would prevent me from going back to the club, though, and once we were finally in the club parking lot, parking was plentiful and easy.

Once inside the club foyer, we both got frisked with the metal detector and contributed to the tip jar. Since it was still pretty early, there was no cover charge for either of us, and thankfully, no ID scan either! We then went through another door to go from the foyer into the main club, and we sat ourselves down at a table not far from the DJ booth. A very friendly server came by within 5 minutes to get our drink order, and our bottles of water were still reasonably priced at $3.25 each. When you’ve been to other clubs that now charge $6, $7 or even $8 for the exact same bottle of water, it really makes you appreciate the clubs that keep things reasonable...
