Don't get me wrong, if you live in Augusta and have nothing much else to do besides hang out downtown, Discotheque can be a time waster for sure. I say this because any better strip club is going to be about 2 hours away. The dancers are pretty aware of whose got money to spend and who just wanted to pay for cover and maybe tip a little bit every once in a while. Most of the dancers inside are around 5-6 range, but some of them can be pretty energetic. I opted out of a lap dance, but I was asked by about 3 of the girls. When I said "no thanks" 2 of them shrugged it off with a positive outlook, the last one may have given a bit of a stink eye. The music was more or less rap and rock depending on what was going on the stage. The building itself looks ancient, like the city told them they couldn't change a single thing when it was first built (which looks like it was stuck in the late 80s). The decorum was a little dive bar ish, but compared to the other strip clubs in Augusta they were way better off. I wish I came on a Friday or Saturday, to see what it might be like when it bit busier. Not saying there weren't people there, but it seemed a bit dead. Overall the experience was a bit like going to a bar downtown. I didn't see much hustling, and most of the girls seemed very nice. Like I said, if you nothing better to do in Augusta, might as well take chance here. Who knows, maybe it's better during Master's week when apparently they grab girls from other areas as well.
